Supported Living for People With Mental Health and Autism

Grant Healthcare is a specialist supported living for people with mental health and autism. We have a wide range of social care services to support individuals with mental health, challenging behaviour, personality disorders, learning disabilities and eating disorders. We are inspired to provide the best care services to all our service users. We are committed to high quality effective care. We pride ourselves in delivering independence.

At Grant Healthcare we are doing all we can to make a positive difference to the lives of the people who form our community. Our Vision

Our vision is to provide high quality, specialistic services to people within our care through our organisational culture embedded within our Grant Healthcare model of care; Assist, Engage and Reflect. We aim to ensure our service users and stakeholders are proud of what we do through good governance, integrity, honesty, probity, professionalism, trust and openness in all our services.

Our Mission

Our mission is to work with a culture of honesty and integrity; providing care that is compassionate, safe, well led and of highest quality to our service users and provide an excellent, rewarding and fulfilling environment to work for our staff.

Our values are to provide the highest standards of care to our service users; respecting service users’ choices, values and empowering them to be at the centre of their care; equipping our staff with the right skills to deliver quality services.

Our Strategic Plan(2023-2028)

Our strategy for the next five years (2023-2028) reflects on our desire and ambition to provide high quality services; safe, well led, person centered vision and values that are embedded on equality, safety, dignity, honesty, empowerment, compassion, respect and involvement. 

We put our service users at the heart of everything we do in delivering care that is high quality and safe. 

We support and assist our service users with the right care, within the right time and within the service users’ individual needs.

We value and develop our staff who deliver person centered care that is second to none and at the same time aim to retain our talented staff as well as promoting excellence in everything we do.

Safeguarding

At Grant Healthcare Safeguarding is underpinned by our belief that: 

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility; everyone has a duty to play to ensure that our services are effective and we take a person-centered approach: to be effective it should be based on a clear understanding of the needs and views of all our service users. 

Health and safety

We Aim to achieve compliance with legal requirements through good health and safety performance; establishing and maintaining safe and healthy working environment. We  ensure that risks arising from work activities under our control are eliminated or adequately controlled. 

We aim to develop and implement appropriate occupational health and safety procedures and safe working practices as well as involve our employees in health and safety decisions through consultation and co-operation. 

We aim to maintain workplaces under our control in a condition that is safe and compliant and without risk to health and we regularly review our compliance with all associated policies, practices and procedures. 

Quality Governance

Grant Healthcare is committed to providing high quality care through good  governance that is transparent, accountable and inclusive. Good governance is everyone’s responsibility to ensure service user safety and quality care. We work together with a shared goal of providing safe, effective care that makes a positive difference to those we look after. 

We will ensure required standards are achieved and exceeded, investigation and action is taken on sub-standard performance, ensure continuous improvement in our services, identify, share and ensure delivery of best practice and to Identify and manage risks to quality of care 

Our Clinical Vision

Grant Healthcare aims  to provide the highest quality care to our Service Users and Residents at all times. 

We are committed to providing highest quality effective care possible. 

We aim to achieve this through our highly trained and motivated staff working in partnership with Service Users, Residents, their friends and relatives, our Commissioners, and Regulatory Bodies. 

As a national care provider, with a network of professional and high quality services we are able to offer solutions and work in partnership with the NHS, ICBs and local authorities to provide the services they need including emergency. We have many years of experience in providing specialist mental health treatment, rehabilitation and support in service user focused environments that provide evidenced, quality health care in national and regional care pathways. 

Our Staff

Our selected team of professionals receive specialized training, which they are regularly tested upon to ensure the continuation of best practices. To ensure the best care is being provided, we conduct supervisions and meetings for quality of care delivery. 

All our staff are experienced health and social care professionals, well trained and have the values of Grant Healthcare embedded within their working culture. We pride ourselves on having the best individuals whom we can support through continuous professional development. 

We have established a comprehensive recruitment process, which checks the every aspect of the candidate to ensure suitability for the roles. We do have  a key worker assigned to you upon arrival and they are dedicated to ensuring your outcomes are met. We will always endeavor to ensure  your standards  of dignity and respect are met at all time. 

Training

Grant Healthcare provides quality training that demonstrates the care and support we deliver. 

All our staff are provided with appropriate training so that they can undertake their duties with full responsibility and accountability. We also offer specialised training for clients who require specialistic care programme. 

All staff employed by Grant Healthcare are subject to a robust recruitment process that includes; Disclosure and Barring Scheme (DBS) enhanced disclosure checks and checks against the Independent Safeguarding Authority lists (lists of persons who are barred from working with vulnerable adults and children). 

We encourage and support our staff  to gain qualifications to a minimum of NVQ level 2 or the QCF level 2 Diploma in health and social care are supported to develop their skills and knowledge. 

Our staff receive full training in line with the statutory requirements including; Moving and Handling, Health and Safety, Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults, Whistle Blowing, Infection Control, Food Hygiene, First Aid, Fire Safety and Medication. 

We also support our staff with specialist courses such as Autism awareness, mental health awareness, learning disabilities foundation, Positive Behavior Support (PBS) and other service/client specific courses.
